Samaritan’s Purse, the humanitarian organisation, has announced that it is sending a Boeing 767 freighter to Venezuela carrying a field hospital and a range of supplies for people affected by the earthquakes that struck the country.

The charity said disaster-response specialists are already on the ground in Venezuela, working in the impacted areas. Meanwhile, the aircraft is en route with essential equipment intended to expand humanitarian assistance.
The Boeing 767-300F cargo consists of an Emergency Field Hospital, temporary shelter materials, solar lighting systems and other supplies regarded as vital for supporting communities hit by the earthquakes.
Prayers for earthquake victims and rescue teams
In a social media post, Samaritan’s Purse also called for prayers for families mourning loved ones, teams continuing search-and-rescue operations, and those injured in the disaster.
The organisation is known for responding to major natural disasters worldwide, deploying medical teams, field hospitals, cargo aircraft and humanitarian aid to areas affected by emergencies.
